Sam has worked extensively in film, tv and theatre. Recent tv includes Ian Lee in BBC's Doctors , and the corrupt accountant, Kevin Scott in Search, also for the BBC; Jerry in Doctor Willoughby with Joanna Lumley; Tate in Holby City ; Dean in Footballers Wives , which just aired on BBC America; television series include Simon in Is Harry On The Boat and Doc Roberts on Dream team , both for Sky Television; Ryan in Where The Heart Is for Anglia television; Cave To Cavern for NRK Television and A Secret Slave for BBC tv.

Sam's increasing ventures in the film industry have been highlighted by working with such actors as Ralph Fiennes (THE ENGLISH PATIENT) on Oscar and Lucinda ; as Simpkins in Shiner with Michael Caine; Hobson in the film Love Roy ; Marco (lead role) in Smile by Faithful Films; the lead role in 2 films by Yokon Films, The Bleeding and Overdue … both black comedies with a “Guy Ritchie” flavour! Also the role of Stephen in AKA for Third Rock Films.

Sam worked directly with Stephen Sondheim, playing the lead role in the world premiere of Saturday Night at the Bridewell Theatre, London; with Imogen Stubbs on her new play We Happy Few . He very much enjoyed playing the eccentric lead role Captain Tempest in Return to the Forbidden Planet ; Tim Dunn in Blavatsky's Tower by Moira Buffini (wrote Dinner at the Royal National Theatre) ; James Harrington in The Guns Of August at the White Bear Theatre; Frank Rice in The Entertainer with Michael Pennington (Watermill & Hampstead) which was backed by Brian Cox; Jekyll (Churchill, Bromley); Last Legs , (Grace Theatre); The secret of the White Rose by Jack Klaff; The Zoo Story (tour & Edinburgh) Here Come The Clowns , King's Head, Islington. Sam has worked for SCALA, Century Theatre and Perth Theatre. Other work: Only The Lonely (Bill Kenwright). Roles in shows at Theatre Royal Haymarket, the Whitehall, The Strand and the Cambridge theatres in the West End.
